MVR Public Relations, led by Michaela Villaroman.
MVR is based in Manila and works with brands across the Philippines and Southeast Asia. It is small on purpose. The person you meet is the person who runs your account.

Michaela Villaroman, founder.
Michaela Villaroman leads MVR's work in earned coverage, brand partnerships, launches and profile PR. She has spent close to six years in PR and media relations, and she is senior partner on every account.
She also manages global press for Seedstars, the venture firm backing startups across emerging markets, with regional campaigns from Indonesia and Singapore to the Philippines. That work runs in her own capacity, alongside MVR.
The portfolio marks which is which, because it matters when you're judging who did the work.
Understand the brand, then earn the attention.
We start by understanding the brand, its audience and what the engagement needs to achieve. From there we build the media strategy, write the release and the pitches, and work the media list ourselves.
You see every pitch before it goes out. After each placement we report back with the coverage link, the publication's audience estimate and its domain authority, so you always know what landed and where.
Engagements run monthly, or cover a defined launch or campaign. Good PR is simple when you know the industry. Know the audience, know the journalists, and earn the attention honestly.
Manila client work, and earlier global experience.
The published portfolio covers food, petcare, fitness, technology and other brands, with case studies and links to the coverage each one earned. Any industry, deliberately.
It holds two kinds of work. The Philippine campaigns are MVR client engagements. The Seedstars programme and the regional startup cases are Michaela's own work, in the capacity described above. Each case study says which it is.
