PR for gym openings and fitness brands.
MVR Public Relations handles media relations for gym openings, training-club launches and fitness brands in Manila and across the Philippines. We help shape the announcement, prepare the media materials and pitch the story to relevant sports, lifestyle, business and news desks.
Give people something to get interested in.
A ribbon-cutting photo can only do so much. The useful story might be a training format people have not tried, a coach who can explain it, or a new facility serving a particular community.
We work through that story with you before outreach starts. The angle should hold up when a journalist asks what is actually new.
The Gold's Gym × Metcon launch.
The Manila HYROX training-club launch is one example from MVR's fitness portfolio. The case study records 33 placements, with coverage across sports, business, lifestyle and national news, including outlets such as GMA, Philippine Star, BusinessWorld and Spin.ph.
What the PR work can cover.
- Story and announcement planning. The opening, training offer or milestone, the audience and the facts that support it.
- Media materials. A clear release, background information and spokesperson notes, with the technical details checked by your team.
- Targeted outreach. Relevant sports, lifestyle, business and news journalists, with the angle adapted to the desk.
- Media visits and interviews. Planning the press-facing part of a launch, including what journalists can see or try and who can answer their questions.
- Coverage reporting. The published links and an assessment against the communications goals agreed at the start.
We agree the mix before work starts. See our media relations and product launch PR services for more on the scope.
A useful first brief.
Send the location, proposed launch date, audience, what is new and who can speak for the business. Include photographs and the details of any demonstration or media visit you are considering.
If memberships or enquiries are the business goal, say so. We can plan how coverage supports that goal and agree what to track; placement counts alone do not show how many people signed up.
